GTeSIM Hotspot FAQ

Data Plans & Usage
How can I check my remaining data and validity period?
It depends on how your data plan was purchased:
- Purchased through GTeSIM: Log into the GTeSIM App or website, navigate to My eSIM Plans, and you’ll see both your remaining mobile data and plan validity. This applies to all GTeSIM-provided eSIM hotspot plans.
- Purchased from a third-party provider: After installing the eSIM on your GTeSIM hotspot device, go to My Devices in the app. There, you can view usage data and connection info. *Note: Some external providers may not show full expiration details due to platform limitations.
How can I purchase and manage data plans?
You have two easy options:
- Via GTeSIM: Buy flexible data plans (including pay-as-you-go or daily plans) directly from the GTeSIM App or website. Manage and activate plans via My eSIM Plans.
- Via third-party providers: GTeSIM eSIM Hotspot supports any GSMA-compliant provider. After purchasing, use the GTeSIM App to install and manage them from My Devices.
Does it support global data plans?
Yes. GTeSIM supports global and regional eSIM data plans in 180+ countries. Whether you need a T-Mobile data plan, cheap phone plan, or a portable WiFi plan for travel, we’ve got you covered. Just ensure your provider complies with the GSMA eSIM standard.
Are there any extra charges for roaming?
No hidden fees. You pay only for the data plan you select — whether it’s from GTeSIM or a third party. There are no roaming fees when using your eSIM hotspot abroad.
Do you support pay-as-you-go or daily plans?
GTeSIM offers a wide range of affordable phone plans, including daily, weekly, and pay-as-you-go data plans. You can also bring your own plan from other cheap data providers.
How can I purchase data plans for the GTeSIM Hotspot?
- Option 1: Use the GTeSIM App or website to buy and activate a plan instantly.
- Option 2: Purchase from third-party eSIM marketplaces like Airalo or Holafly, then use the GTeSIM App to scan the QR code and install the plan on your portable WiFi hotspot.
Method 2: Buy a plan from other major eSIM data providers and use the GTeSIM App to scan the QR code and install it on your hotspot.
How many eSIM profiles can the GTeSIM Hotspot store?
Your GTeSIM travel hotspot can store up to 10 eSIM profiles. For best performance and network stability, we recommend activating no more than 5 at a time.
How can I switch the network operator on the eSIM hotspot device?
-
Manually switch to another provider by activating a different eSIM in the app.
-
Use GTeSIM Connection Technology, which auto-switches to the strongest signal available — perfect for global travel wifi and portable routers.
