This Privacy Policy is designed to clearly and transparently explain how we collect, use, store, share, and safeguard your information when you access our website (www.gtesim.com) or mobile application (collectively, the “Service Platform”), or use our eSIM data services (“Services”).

Account Information For account registration and management, we may collect: username, password, profile picture (if you choose to upload), and travel preferences (optional). Provided by you during registration and account management.
eSIM Usage Information While using the Services, we collect data related to your eSIM connection, such as data consumption, connection time, activation status, and approximate location (for network coverage). Collected as necessary for service provision.

In this Policy, “Personal Information” refers to all of the above categories.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

Contract Fulfillment: To process your orders, complete payments, send your eSIM activation QR code, and provide customer support.

Service Improvement: To optimize user experience on the Gtesim platform, troubleshoot issues, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Security Protection: To screen for potential fraud or illegal activity (especially using IP addresses) and to protect you and Gtesim. Marketing Communications: With your consent, and in accordance with your communication preferences, we may send you promotional offers, product updates, or other marketing messages.

Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or respond to lawful requests (e.g., subpoenas or court orders).

3. How we Share Your Information

Gtesim operates globally. Your personal information may be transferred to servers outside your country/region.

We are committed to applying appropriate legal safeguards for such transfers, including the use of EU Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure your information is protected at the same level as in the source country.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access & Correction: You may access the personal information we hold and request corrections of inaccuracies.

Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data. For example, after you stop using the Services, you can email cs@gtesim.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” We will process requests within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

Objection to Processing: You may object to certain processing activities based on our legitimate interests.

Data Portability: In certain cases, you can request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format for transfer to another controller.

Marketing Preferences: You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in our emails or through account settings.

Cookie Control: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, but this may affect some platform functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, including compliance with legal, tax, or accounting requirements. For example, order information may be retained after a transaction for tax audit purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Gtesim does not direct its Services to children under the age of 16.The minimum age may vary depending on local law (e.g., 13 to 16 years old under GDPR). Our Services are also not offered to children whose age makes it illegal to process their personal data, or requires parental consent for processing under the GDPR or other applicable local laws.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16, or under the applicable minimum age (the “Age Limit”). If you are under the Age Limit, please do not use our Services or provide any personal information to us.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under the Age Limit has provided personal information to Gtesim, please contact us at cs@gtesim.com.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the Age Limit, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data. This may require us to delete the child’s Gtesim account.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal obligations. Updated policies will be posted on the Shopify Service Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date. We will notify you of significant changes in a clear and prominent manner.
